Jonathan Case is a cartoonist from Portland, Oregon. His most recent graphic novel, The New Deal, was a nominee for the Reuben, Harvey, and Oregon Book awards for best graphic album. In 2012 he received an Eisner award for Green River Killer, A True Detective Story. Other works include the critical hit, Dear Creature (Dark Horse), Batman ’66 and Superman: American Alien (DC), Over the Garden Wall (BOOM), and various comic book covers.
Case’s paintings and illustrations can be found inside many Portland businesses like McMenamins, Ex Novo Brewing, TEDx, and the Final Draft Tap House. He also does illustration and storyboard work for agencies around the world.
In the few stolen moments between projects, Case enjoys going on adventures with his wife, Sarah, and their daughters, Dorothy and Miriam.
